About forum

Ukrainian Financial Forum (UFF) is one of the foremost annual financial events in Ukraine.

Founded by ICU in 2014, the Forum is an open platform for distinguished authorities on international economics to discuss the global macroeconomic trends and domestic market reforms that are shaping Ukraine’s economy.

The Forum stimulates rigorous debate on a range of themes related to the development of the Ukrainian economy with the aim of demonstrating that Ukraine is open for business with an energetic, highly educated workforce, driving economic growth in the country.

UFF has consistently featured high profile international speakers who share ICU’s belief that Ukraine is in a period of exciting change and has a bright future. Edward Lucas (former foreign correspondent at the Economist), Poul Thomsen, IMF European Director (2014–2020), and Gosta Ljungman (the IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine), are just a few of the household names that have spoken at UFF in the past.
